Get Fabulous Cruise Deals Now
At this time of year it is possible to find some fantastic cruise deals, especially if you keep your eyes on the holiday pages of newspapers. They are often frantically trying to fill the last few places on their early year cruises and give substantial discounts. If you still have some holiday leave left, then now is the time to look for cruises at low prices.
If you are able to travel with just a couple of days notice, then you will be able to snap up some of the best deals. Searching online, I found a 14 night cruise to the Caribbean, inclusive of flights for just 899 pounds per person. I also found a Caribbean cruise and stay in Vegas, including dance lessons and flights, for 499 pounds each, next August.
They really do sound fantastic deals and many of them can be. What is in the small print, however can ruin a fabulous sounding bargain. The cabins may be the most basic and located in noisy areas, or the price may not include all meals. To check that you have got a genuine deal, these points need to be checked thoroughly.
Deals that give an on-board spend as part of the attractions can be very useful. Cruises can be expensive when one has to pay gratuities, excursion fees and drinks. However an on-board spend can cover all these things and helps you to keep money in your pocket.
Of course, cruises don’t have to be just on the sea. There are also plenty of river cruises available and again you can find some amazing deals, both on line and in newspapers. If you don’t fancy rivers, there are also fjord cruises, many of which give you the chance to view the Northern Lights.
Whichever type of cruise you fancy, someone, somewhere will offer it. River cruises are fantastic for getting to the heart of a country as many capital cities are built on rivers. You will see miles of wonderful scenery drift past and you will also have the chance to visit major cities en route.
On a sea cruise you may not see much scenery, unless you are following a coastline, visiting various ports en route. However, you will have chance to try out the attractions on board, which generally include a swimming pool or two, and a spa. You will not be lost for things to do, but if you just like watching the sea, you may spot deep water fish.
Whatever your fancy, do make sure you read the small print very carefully. Also, check things again when making the booking and get everything in writing if possible. You don’t want to find out that the cruise deal you thought was a bargain holiday was anything but!
